Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Limelite ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service. By using Limelite, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. User Types

Buyers

Buyers can browse events, purchase tickets, and attend events listed on Limelite.

Sellers (Event Organizers)

Sellers can create and manage events, sell tickets, and manage vendor applications. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of event information and compliance with local laws and regulations.

5. Ticket Purchases

  • All ticket sales are final unless otherwise specified by the event organizer
  • Refund policies are set by individual event organizers
  • We are not responsible for events that are cancelled, postponed, or changed by organizers
  • Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly allowed

6. Vendor Applications

Vendors who apply to participate in events must:

  • Provide accurate business and product information
  • Comply with event organizer requirements
  • Hold all necessary permits and licenses
  • Accept that event organizers have sole discretion over vendor acceptance

7. Payments and Fees

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Service fees may apply to ticket purchases
  • Event organizers are responsible for applicable taxes on ticket sales
  • Payout schedules for sellers are subject to our payment processing terms

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Create fake events or fraudulent listings
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Scrape or collect user data without permission
  • Resell tickets at inflated prices (scalping)
  • Impersonate another person or entity

9. Intellectual Property

The Limelite name, logo, and all related content are the property of Limelite. You may not use our intellectual property without prior written consent. Event organizers retain rights to their event content.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Limelite shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the past 12 months.

11. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for the conduct of event organizers, vendors, or attendees.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
